God, in His sovereign Grace, choose to be merciful to another sinner and saved Joseph Thomas
Jaco in August of 1995. After the death of his Grandfather, two years earlier, his Grandmother,
Glenna Jaco, diligently brought him to church week after week to hear the preaching of God's
Word. He, his brother, sister, and other family members are the evidence of God's magnificent
power, and how God used a grandmother to evangelize her family and turned them from
ungodliness to serve the one true and living God.

In September 2003, God choose to put Joseph into the ministry. Since that time, he has
engaged to walk worthy of such an honorable call. Under the training of Elder Chris Silvey, he
has grown in grace and in the Word of God. By the authority of Friendship Missionary Baptist
Church, he teaches the adult Sunday School class, fills the pulpit in his Pastor's absence, and
preaches at various other churches when asked.

On May 19, 2007 Bro Jaco was ordained as a minister of the Gospel.
On January 6, 2010 Bro Jaco was made Associate Pastor by a vote of the members.
